I have actually moved four times in my life. I was born in Canada, and then I moved to Taiwan, and then moved to Connecticut, and then moved to Massachusetts, and then moved to California. I speak English and Mandarin. I love to go out with friends, watch movies, walk around the city, and travel. Also, I love listening and playing music. I have played the piano since I was 5 and the violin since I was 8. I do not really have any long-term plans besides graduating from UCSB with a degree.
I am not currently working on any research, papers or pending publications in progress.
I hope to get a job after graduation in the mathematical and statistical field-perhaps something in banking or risk management-but I am not really sure.
